SMP Invests in Future of Automotive Import Industry

The future of the automotive industry brings to mind high-tech gadgetry such as computerized engines and self-piloted cars. But there’s another component to the industry’s future that Standard Motor Products wants to invest in: the people.

That’s why SMP launched the Intermotor^® Import Leader Automotive Scholarship Contest. After the contest ends on July 31, 2015, two deserving students currently enrolled full-time in high school or an accredited two- or four-year college, university or post-high school educational program will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to apply toward their studies. Entries will be evaluated based on relevance, creativity and thoughtfulness relating to the automotive import industry.
