Oil Level Sensor
What does it do?
This is a warning sensor for the oil level or amount of oil in the engine. If the engine oil level gets low it indicates so for you to service.
Why does the original fail?
Typically it wears out after years of service.
What happens when it fails?
The sensor grounds out so it may stay on continuously or may not operate at all.
When should it be replaced?
If oil level is low and the indicator light doesn’t come on or checking it manually and the indicator light doesn’t operate.
Where can I get this replaced?
You don’t need to go back to the dealer for an oil level sensor. Your trusted technician can service this system and install a professional BWD oil level sensor.
