Crankshaft Position Sensor
What does it do?
It gives the engine reference points for firing.
Why does the original fail?
Prolonged exposure to Vibration and Engine Oils will cause the crankshaft sensor to fail.
What happens when it fails?
There will be no RPM reference signal and possibly a no-start condition.
When should it be replaced?
When the part fails.
Where can I get this replaced?
You don’t need to go back to the dealer. Your service technician can service this system and install a professional BWD crankshaft sensor.
