air What is it?
Ambient (Outside) Air Temperature Sensor
What does it do?
Measures the outside air temperature and provides a signal to dash or console display.
Why does the original fail?
The sensor is installed generally under the front bumper assembly. It can easily be damaged by road salt and other contaminants, high parking curbs and other vehicle disturbances
What happens when it fails?
The ambient air display will give an intermittent temperature reading or no temperature reading at all causing vehicle performance to suffer.
What is special about it?
The BWD part is an exact OEM replacement for Fit, Form and Function.
